Stretch your legs frequently when you’re sitting: Do legs stretched forward, and gently flex your feet upward to stretch the calf muscles. Rotate your ankles and wiggle the toes.

If you dare with a cold foot bath, put cold water in the container and let them soak for at least 8 minutes; this will reactivate the circulation and reduces inflammation.

When to worry about the swollen feet during pregnancy?

– During pregnancy it is only natural to have swollen feet and ankles, even hands! But you must always go to your doctor if this swelling also appears on the face or is sudden and rough hands and feet as it could be a symptom of preeclampsia, a serious condition that should be treated as soon as possible.

– If one leg is more swollen than the other, or if you feel pain or discomfort in your thighs or calves or unbearable pain by swelling of the feet, it is also advisable to ask medical advice as soon as possible.
