Fruit smoothies for kids can be served as dessert, breakfast or snack, because their flavors and colors can undoubtedly attract the curiosity of your child. There are endless numbers of smoothies for kids, from classic strawberry shake to more exotic melon smoothies, you only have to adapt different seasonal fruits. You can use milk, fruit, juice, yogurt or ice cream.

Papaya and banana smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup papaya diced

1 banana sliced

2 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla essence

½ cup water

3-4 Ice cubes

Preparation

In a blender place all ingredients and blend for few minutes. Serve with some ice cubes.

Apricot and mango smoothie

2 ripe mangoes

300 g of ripe apricots

1 lemon

200 grams of plain yogurt

2 tablespoons sugar

Preparation

Peel the mangoes and apricots. In a blender mix the mango pulp and apricots, along with the lemon juice, sugar, yogurt and ice cubes. Blend everything well.

Kiwi and apple smoothie

3 kiwis

One golden apple

Orange juice

2 strawberries for garnish

Ice cubes

Preparation

Peel apples and kiwis, put in the blender, add orange juice and ice cubes. Decorate with a slice of strawberry.

Melon Smoothie

1 melon

2 tablespoons of plain yogurt

1/2 cup milk or soy milk

Ice cubes

Little honey and mint leaves

Preparation

Peel the melon and remove the seeds, keep in a blender. Add 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt and half a glass of milk, a teaspoon of honey and mint leaves, blend well. Serve by garnishing with mint leaves or melon slice.
