An easy and affordable solution is to place chopped laurel leaves in places where insects may enter. They can’t resist the smell and move away immediately.
Mix half chopped onion into half cup of plain flour, required amount of water, a pinch of sugar and 3 or 4 teaspoons of boric powder. Make a paste of it; use soft caps to place the mixture inside. Put these caps in places (mainly corners) where cockroaches walk.
Put pieces of lavender or tea bags in the places where cockroaches walk out. Its aroma is not pleasant to them, usually these insects run away.
As cockroaches have an acid stomach, to eradicate use a simple mixture of sugar with baking soda and place it in the favorite sites of these insects. They can’t resist the sweet taste and eat it right away. So, baking make immediate impact on their body and keep your home clean and tidy.
