Today, I will prepare a special Orange Smoothie for kids. This is a typical smoothie to make children pleased. It’s very healthful as well as nutritious. Oranges are full of vitamin C, Calcium plus Banana comprises loads of Iron, carbohydrates, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 as well as dietary fibers; I encourage you to try this Orange Smoothie for kids, it will make your children happy as well as healthy.
During the winter, children are more prone to diseases such as colds, flu, influenza, respiratory diseases etc. This is because their respiratory system is less developed and more immature immune system, which makes them more vulnerable. However, regardless which age they belong, a good way to protect them from winter diseases, is to strengthen their defense system through consumption of vitamin C.
Vitamin C plays a very important role in the synthesis of collagen that’s essential for the development of bones and connective tissue, strengthen teeth, healing of wounds and improve iron absorption.
The main way to get it is through the consumption of fruits and vegetables. A good fruit with major ingredient vitamin C is Orange. So, I’m sharing recipe of Orange Smoothie.
Orange Smoothie for kids
Time: 15 minutes
3 tablespoons plain yogurt
1 tablespoon honey
METHOD OF PREPARATION
Let’s start peeling the orange and remove all the whites so that smoothie couldn’t get to bitter. Peel the banana and place both ingredients in the blender just until well blended and crushed. Add the yogurt plus honey with some ice-cubes and continue blending until all unified. Serve very cold.
