Effective way to weight loss with lentil soup: Is it true?

People get weight loss when there is a calorie deficit, which means people burn more calories than they consume daily. The healthiest way to lose weight is to eat low calorie instead of those foods containing heavy amount of it. Weight loss with lentil soup is a procedure to reduce calories by replacing high calorie foods with low calorie foods; lentils can be a good replacement for some of the foods that make you gain weight. A simple cup of lentils soup contains about 18 g of protein, which helps maintaining lean body.

Today, I’ll discuss about weight loss with lentil soup in an effective way. The lentils are rich in carbohydrates and contain a good amount of water. Also they contain minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, iron, folic acid, thiamine, sodium, zinc and vitamin B1. So the people follow procedure of weight loss with lentil soup, don’t omit a healthy diet.

Lentils are one of the foods most consumed worldwide due to their properties, is very beneficial part of a healthy diet routine during any stage of life (children, adolescents, adults, pregnancy and older). Green split gram contains sodium and potassium that keeps water balance in our bodies, which affect the proper functioning of our cardiovascular system. Green split gram is a healthy food for the heart, as it reduces the risk of coronary heart disease, also reduces the chances of prostate cancer.

The weight loss with lentil soup is easy to follow as it’s contained two lentils as pink lentils and green split gram. They serve as a replacement for low-fat protein such as meat and other animal foods, but essential to have other sources of protein in our diet. This weight loss with lentil soup is healthy way as it’s highly nutritious and good for the poor people as it is very affordable food. Lentils can be cooked in an open pot or pressure cooker; it does not take long to cook them.

Ingredients for lentil soup

Green gram split (Moong ki daal): 1and 1/2 tbsp

Pink lentil (Masoor ki daal): 1 and 1/2 tbsp

Water: 5 cups

Black pepper: A pinch

Salt: A pinch

Method

Bring the water to boil and add both lentils in it. Let them cook for about 30-40 mins. After that continue stirring till lentils get a smooth appearance. Dish it out, sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

Note: Take this lentil soup as a dinner. You will see effective results within a week. This soup is also recommended to people recovering from illness or upset stomach, or those suffering from colds or fever.
