Tomato contains vitamins A and C that are beneficial to the skin. Tomato juice is astringent and antioxidant, so it can also be used on skin with acne. Apply the pulp of a fresh tomato on the skin. Then leave on for an hour and rinse your skin with warm water. Hopefully redness or irritation will be relieving. Also you will feel a glow on your face.
You can call it one of the effective home remedies for skin irritation. It reduces inflammation of the blood vessels caused by a minor burn. Apply it on the irritated part after soaking in the water. It also contains antioxidants that help improving skin texture and reduce redness or irritation.
