Causes and effective natural remedies for hair loss in women

Many women wonder why their hair falls out? Hair fall can be extremely difficult to accept and cope especially for women. However, if the common causes of this problem are understood, they can anticipate actions to prevent or reduce its severity.

As women’s bodies work differently than males’, the common causes of hair fall in women are more hormonal than genetic. Changes in hormonal levels are occurred with menopause, menstruation, pregnancy, thyroid disease, or the use of birth control pills and hormone replacement therapy can also cause temporary hair loss, so I’m going to discuss natural remedies for hair loss.

When certain hormones such as estrogen or testosterone, release faster or conversely slow down, certain bodily changes can lead to hair loss. For example, after childbirth women’s hormones go into a resting phase at the same time the body returns to its pre-birth state. During this period, usually between three and six months after birth, women may notice an increase in normal hair loss that can be treated by natural remedies for hair loss. Fortunately, this loss is temporary and tends to be reduced by about 12 months.

Why hair falls quickly?

If hormonal changes are not responsible for hair loss, the problem may be caused by inadequate techniques of hair care, anemia, stress, infections, illness, permanent hair dyes or hereditary conditions.

Another cause of hair loss in women is poor diet. Women who follow strict diets and lose weight too quickly can experience temporary hair loss, as well as women who do not consume enough protein, zinc, fatty acids or dietary vitamins.

Consequently, women may experience hair loss. Female baldness is a result of bodily reactions to testosterone inherited disease. When this is converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the compound attacks hair follicles and causes baldness.

Eliminate common causes of hair loss

Since most of the causes of hair loss are temporary, there are possible natural remedies for hair loss. Start adopting a healthy lifestyle to ensure that the body receives enough nutrients it needs to promote optimal hair growth. Exercise enables the transmission of appropriate nutrients to hair follicles and reduces the effects of stress on the body.

If you use chemicals to color the hair consider abandoning the practice before the damage is permanent. Take extra precautions to protect hair. If you are pregnant, going through menopause or experiencing other hormonal changes, be gentle with your hair, try natural remedies for hair loss, use a shampoo formulated to strengthen hair, eat healthy foods rich in soy to protect hormonal health.
